Tips On Getting Married in Hawaii: Getting a Hawaii Marriage License

If you’re getting married in Hawaii you need to know a few things to make things move smoothly.  There will be a few posts on the subject, but, the first deals with how to get a marriage license from Hawaii.  If you’re getting married in Hawaii you must get a marriage license from the State of Hawaii.  Here is some basic information you’ll need to know to get your Hawaii marriage license:

• No blood test is required
• Bride and Groom must be present to obtain the marriage license
• Bring your driver’s license or other valid I.D.
• The marriage license costs $60 (cash only)
• Traffic and parking can be (and usually is) an issue so get their with enough time
